Alan Inkpen was a Halifax-based artist in the 1980s who worked within time-based mediums. Video works that he was associated with are a part of the Centre for Art Tapes tape collection.

John Grey became associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 1986 because of their involvement in a video recording entitled “Penguin 5-oh!” which became a part of the centre’s tape collection.

Custodial history

The tape was donated to the Dalhousie University Archives in 2013 by the Centre for Art Tapes.
