This series consists of records relating to the structure of municipalities and their government across Canada that was compiled and created by Higgins for his book Urban Canada: Its Government and Politics (1977) and Local and Urban Politics in Canada (1986). Types of records include interview transcripts with city councillors and mayors, research notes and note from meetings, meeting minutes, reports, printed material, and completed surveys by urban cities across Canada.
