Biographical history
Andy Dowden is a media and sound artist based in the Halifax area. Dowden has taught studio sound courses in the Media Art Department at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) University since 1986. He has been involved with the Centre for Art Tapes and the Audio for Artists festival.

Valerie LeBlanc is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and educator from Halifax, Nova Scotia, who has exhibited works throughout Canada and the United States. LeBlanc has been working with her video poetry, fiction, performance and visual and written theory since the 1980s. Since 2013, LeBlanc has been a doctoral candidate in Visual Arts at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Custodial history
The tape was donated to the Dalhousie University Archives in 2013 by the Centre for Art Tapes.
Scope and content
Item consists of an audio recording of an interview with Micah Lexier on CKDU Radion in 1987. A. Dowden and A. MacLeod were the sound engineers.
