File is an audio reel containing an interview with Virginia Satir, a pioneer of family therapy who ran the Avanta Institute in British Columbia, a private center where professional or laypeople can take courses to realize their potential and become "more fully human". The interview was conducted by CKDU's Heather Hueston. The episode was recorded on February 5, 1988, and was broadcast on the same day and June 17, 1988 on The Evening Affair and Title Waves, CKDU programs, and on September 6, 1988.
