Scope and content

File is an audio reel containing an interview with Nicholas Regush, a Montreal journalist specializing in covering medical issues and a medical analyst with CBC Radio, on his book Canada's Health Care System: Condition Critical. During a visit to Halifax the previous fall, he discussed his belief that immediate action was needed to prevent Canada's health care system from falling into ruin with CKDU's Donna Mayer. The episode was recorded in September 1987, and was broadcast on March 7, and July 5, 1988 on Title Waves, a CKDU program.
