File is an audio reel containing an interview with aural historian Kathy Moggridge on midwifery in Nova Scotia. The interview discussed the possible reasons for midwifery's unpopularity in Nova Scotia, as there was no plan for the regulation of midwifery similar to the plans being made in Quebec or British Columbia. The interview was conducted by CKDU's Ken Burke. The episode was recorded on July 18, 1989, and was broadcast on the same day, and on July 31, 1989 on Title Waves, a CKDU program.
