Scope and content
File is an audio reel that contains an episode of Artscape, a radio program broadcast on CKDU radio 97.5. This episode features an interview with Claude Chaloux, a sculptor who moved from Quebec to Grosses Coques on the French Shore of Nova Scotia in the early 1980s. His exhibition, "Clay and Stone from the Country of the First Dawn," used clay and gypsum indigenous to this area and was on display at the Other Art gallery at 2094 Gottingen Street. Sheryl Spencer interviewed Chaloux with technical assistance by Lisa Monk.
