This fonds contains reports and news-clipping pertaining to the history of Agricola Archives, Special Collections, and Museum. The Agricola collections are housed in the MacRae Library on the Faculty of Agriculture campus of Dalhousie University, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia.

Correspondences

This sub-series includes published and unpublished papers, correspondence to and from Fred Sears between 1905-1907 while he was Professor of Horticulture at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College from 1905-1907.

Letter to JK MacDonald

This file contains 1 textual record of a 38 page draft letter on legal size loose-leaf paper. This was written by JP Landry to the Honorable J.K MacDonald, then Minister of Agriculture of Nova Scotia, on January 12, 1938. While most of the draft is handwritten, it includes a 2 page print report for the Antigonish C. Poultry Association in 1936.

Earltown, NS, Farm Forum Radio

This file contains a document written by Murray Baillie regarding the activities of the Earltown, Nova Scotia Farm Forum Radio Group from the period of 1961-1962. Murray Baillie was a 20 year old teacher at the time and Secretary for the group.

Scrapbook

The file consists of a scrapbook of agricultural activity in Nova Scotia from 1900 to 1949. Entries include pencil drawings of animals and plants, newspaper clippings, pictures of NSAC buildings, breeds, and events on campus as well as agricultural events around Nova Scotia from the NS Dept. of Agriculture Annual reports.
