The file also contains a poem by Joyce Barkhouse, "After School"; a story written by her nephew David, entitled "Grandfather 15 June 09"; and some correspondence regarding Marian Lacey and Margaret Atwood (nee Killam). A photograph of eight children (Keith Porter, Lorna, Joyce, Fred, Bernie, Boyd Burgess, Kay, and Margaret) at a culvert on the North Mountain Railway is also included.
