File consists of a range of oral history, mining research and final copies of papers written by James Morrison in the 1970's. The file contains two typed copies of the paper "Indigenous Competition and Labour in the tin fields of Nigeria 1906-1921" written by James Morrison, one copy is marked "master copy". Both copies of the paper include maps of the Jos Plateau in Nigeria. The file contains notes written on index cards from a text written by historian Charles Van Onselen on mine labour in South Africa.
File consists of James Morrison's resume, notes for a paper on Niger Company and Tin Mining, and correspondence between James Morrison and Barbara Kerfoot the Regional Coordinator of CUSO.
File contains a reel-to-reel recording of Barbara Hinds interviewing Alan Innes-Taylor. Innes-Taylor talks about how he came to Dawson City, his past employment as a police officer, gold mining, the Gold Rush Festival, and other topics.

File contains 58 photographs taken by Bill Freedman at Voisey's Bay, Labrador, in 1996. Photographs show river rapids, aerial surveys of the region, Fraser River Canyon, and some ground vegetation, near the site of the nickel mining operation. Late in 1996, Inco acquired rights to mine nickel from the area, and Freedman's visit involved conducting an environmental assessment (which he had done previously for nickel mining sites in Sudbury, Ontario).
