File contains 71 handwritten letters sent from poet Molly Beresford to Andrew Merkel between 1922 and 1936; three postcards; one Christmas card; and four poems, including "The Philosophy of a Would-Be Poet," "Moon Shadows," "To a Fair Lady on returning to her a Pair of Rubber Shoes."

Item, a photograph, is related to material in Thomas Head Raddall's photograph album, 1917-1927. There is a note to Ellen Raddall from her husband, T.H. Raddall, Sr., on the reverse side. Raddall, Sr. marked his position in the parade on the front with an x: he is the fifth from the left in the foremost line, wearing a long, dark overcoat that nearly reaches his ankles.

The photograph comes a collection of official photographs produced by the Daily Mail during the Great War. The Prince of Wales stands to the left of King George. Generals William Norris Congreve and Sir Henry Seymour Rawlinson are standing in the foreground on the right. General Congreve is identified with an x over his head, though the the identification may be erroneous.

A note on the reverse side indicates that the restaurant featured a 'sing-song'. The gentleman on the right is identified as Bleach, from South Africa.

The photograph was taken at dusk when the Raddalls were on their way to their hotel. The Raddalls can be found on the left side of the boat.
