Dalhousie Theatre : Moliere

File contains sixteen watercolour and gouache sketches of costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's production of Moliere. A collection of handwritten notes about the costumes is also included.

File contains three pencil sketches of costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's production of Mary Stuart. The sketches have been torn from a spiral bound notebook.

Dalhousie Theatre : Mandragola

File contains nine costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's production of Mandragola. The sketches show many mask designs for characters from the production as well as some full-body costume designs.

Dalhousie Theatre : Love for Love

File contains fifteen watercolour sketches of costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1989 production of Love for Love. Each sketch shows one character wearing their costume. The sketches are all cut out and mounted on dark orange matboards. Most of the sketches have a clear plastic sheet taped over them for protection.

Dalhousie Theatre : Happy End

File contains 17 costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1989 production of Happy End. The sketches have all been torn into irregular shapes, mounted on corrugated cardboard, and spray painted with a brick pattern.

Dalhousie Theatre : Grease

Files contains six set designs and 27 costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1984 production of Grease. Photocopies of several of the costume designs are included and three of the costume designs are only present in photocopy form. Some of the costume designs have fabric swatches attached. Four envelopes of fabric swatches are also included.

Dalhousie Theatre : Cloud Nine

File contains 14 costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1989 production of Cloud Nine. The designs are pencil sketches on heavyweight paper. The sketches have been torn from a spiral bound sketchbook and some of the torn edges have not been cut off. The file also contains nine black and white photocopies of some of the sketches.

Canadian music and theatre programs

Subseries contains programs from concerts that John Daniel Logan attended in Canada, excluding Nova Scotia, predominantly at venues in Toronto and Montreal. Many of the programs include annotations by Logan.

Canadian Council on International Law

Subseries consists of Ronald St. John Macdonald's records regarding his involvement with the Canadian Council on International Law. Subseries contains conference lists, conference proceedings, bulletins, correspondence, meeting minutes, administrative records, and other materials.

Brock University : The Rover

Subseries contains 24 costume designs and two posters related to Brock University's 2002 production of The Rover by Aphra Behn. The production took place February 14-16, 2002 at the Sean O'Sullivan Theatre and was presented by the Theatre, Dramatic Literature & Drama in Education program at Brock University.

Autographs

Subseries contains autographs of musicians, some of which are on concert programs. These concert programs also frequently contain annotations by J.D. Logan about the music performed. Most of the autographs would have been obtained from the musician directly by John Daniel Logan, with the exception of the autograph of the American pianist and composer Louis Morceau Gottschalk (1829-1869) and that of the French operatic soprano Marie Rôze Mapleson (1846-1926).
