Some documents contain handwritten (by Elisabeth Mann Borgese) comments. These documents were originally housed in a large binder with other United Nations (UN) reference materials (i.e. press releases, journals, sessional reports) and the contents of MS-2-744, Box 117, Folder 2.

Presumably all authored by Elisabeth Mann Borgese. Also has some handwritten annotations which may be by Arvid Pardo.

File contains a preliminary draft, by the Delegation of Portugal to UNCLoS (United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea) III. The report was co-authored by Mario Ruivo and M.E. Gonçalves, and was written after the fourth (4th) session of UNCLoS. See MS-2-744, Box 126, Folder 22 for another version of this speech.

File contains a copy of a prospectus from the conference, sent to Elisabeth Mann Borgese by Sidney Holt. The prospectus outlines the conference's background, objectives, organization, documentation, and information about participation and working language. The conference was held in Kyoto, Japan, between May 26 and June 2, 1976.
