File contains photographs taken by Don Brunton (and collected by Bill Freedman), at Fairmont Hot Springs and Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Waterton National Park, Alberta, Kanata, Ontario, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts, between 1982 and 1990. Photographs show Epipactis gigantea, Isoetes bolanderi, Azolla mexicana, Adiantum copillus-veneris, Silphium perfoliatum, Chimaphik maculata, and Sabbatia kennedyana.

Photographs of Voisey's Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador

File contains 58 photographs taken by Bill Freedman at Voisey's Bay, Labrador, in 1996. Photographs show river rapids, aerial surveys of the region, Fraser River Canyon, and some ground vegetation, near the site of the nickel mining operation. Late in 1996, Inco acquired rights to mine nickel from the area, and Freedman's visit involved conducting an environmental assessment (which he had done previously for nickel mining sites in Sudbury, Ontario).

Photographs show mule deer and elk, and many species of plants (occasionally with captions stating the altitude at which they were found). Plants found in this file include Sedum stenopetalum, Rosa acicularism, Silene acaule, Dryas, hookeriana, and Saxifraga bronchialis.
