A large vase filled with flowers is in the centre in front of the group. Two men are wearing jackets; the others are in shirt-sleeves. One is wearing leg-pads. Print of a room's interior is placed as a backdrop behind them. Print copy is included.

One of the men on the floor is holding a pencil and notebook. Those not wearing jackets are wearing tops on which the name: "Rovers" is sewn. Print of a room interior is placed behind as a backdrop. Print copy is included.

Jack Forrestall is third from left in the back row, while Rev. Morris Taylor is on the far left of the second row.

File contains a photograph of Reverand James Alexander Stead Burns who was born in Montreal in 1871. He had one brother, C.B. Burns, living in Ottawa, and three sisters: Mrs. Arthur G. Troop also lived in Ottawa, Mrs. MacKathy in Oban Scotland, and an unnamed sister in London, England. He was predeceased by his wife and died childless in New Glasgow in 1926. His latest pastorate was in Thorburn, Pictou County. Print from Nitrate Negative: 25-27

Irish and his family in Pictou, Nova Scotia. The children, Brian age 13 and Jean age 15, returned to England in July of 1945 after spending 5 years with the Irish family.
