The photograph was taken outside of Raddall, Sr.'s uncle Frank's shop in East Dulwich while Raddall, Sr. was on holiday. Frank is second from the left.

Item is a photograph of the 2nd Brigade and Canadian 1st Division. Brigadier Lipsett can be seen in the centre, with Major Prower, the commander of the 8th battalion, to his right. Captain T.H. Raddall, Sr. is standing at the right of the photograph, and is the adjutant of the 8th battalion.

Item is a photograph of the Elmwood Hotel, which was originally a mansion built by Joshua Newton, who was the son-in-law of Simeon Perkins. The Perkins house is on the left, though it is not visible. In about 1942, the hotel was purchased by the Canadian Navy, and was used during WWII as a living quarters and offices for naval personnel whose ships were undergoing refit at the Thompson Machinery Co. Ltd. plant. After the war ended in 1949, the hotel was torn down, and the site became the lawn in front of the artillery training quarters.

Item, a postcard, has an inscription addressed to Mr. Donald Bellew from the artist, Hans Dahl. A further inscription presents the postcard to Thomas Head Raddall from Captain Bellew, V.C. The whale jawbones that Dahl is standing under were given to him by Dr. Nansen the Explorer, who was a Viking descendant.

Item is a copy of a photograph in Thomas Head Raddall's photograph album, 1917-1927. The trawler Fabia was from Boston, and was equipped with diving and salvage gear. In the summer of 1921, the Fabia was financed by the Boston Post to raise the schooner Esperanto in order to defend the latter's title to the Herald Cup. The efforts to put the schooner back into service ultimately failed.

Subjects include Raddall and friends and family; Raddall and Edith's vacation to Bermuda; Raddall and friends boating, and taking camping, hunting and fishing trips across Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island; historical artifacts including a -pound canon; images from a 1933 performance of "Three Live Ghosts" put on in Liverpool, Nova Scotia and in which Raddall acted; and Edith Raddall with her children, Tommy and Frances.

Item is an album containing 327 photographs taken between 1941 and 1953 by Raddall and others. Subjects include Raddall and engagements regarding his work, including presenting the address at a club meeting, and meeting with CBC personnel in Toronto, Ontario; Raddall, and his family and friends; the rescue and medical care of surviving crew members from the S/S Empire Seal and S/S Empire Sun, both of which were attacked near Liverpool, Nova Scotia by German U-boats during W.W.II; Raddall's time as an orderly officer at Camp Aldershot in 1942; hunting and fishing trips and vacations with friends and family across the province of Nova Scotia; the last of the navy at Liverpool near the close of W.W.II; urban scenes from Liverpool in winter and the destruction of the Broad River bridge; scenes and local histories from Tancook Island, Seal Island, Cape Breton, and Glode Island; and important figures including Helen Creighton working on Devil's Island, and Raddall meeting photographer Youssef Karsh and McClean's writer Ian Sclanders in Lunenburg. «
