Item is a portrait photograph of the oldest child of Mr. Henry Hugh Havelock Cameron and Anna Elizabeth Fraser seated looking over the arm of a carved chair, full pose. Irene Abegail was born March 1901 in Thorburn, Pictou County and died April 5, 1969. Irene had two living siblings: sister Alvera Sophia born in 1908, and brother Giles Grant born in 1911. Giles' twin Douglas Fraser died as a baby.

Aurelia Clappe McDonald (1887-1917) married to Reginald Webster Cunningham; Jeanetta May McDonald (1891-1955) was married to Louis Rens Skinner; and Eva Mary McDonald (1894-1919) was a teacher and never married. Aurelia and Eva died of tuberculosis.
