Inscription reads: This photograph, taken in 1961, when the first Sabin oral vaccine in Canada was administered at Wedgeport, was used on the Peoples Tree at Expo 67 last year. It shows Dr. V.K. Rideout, director of western Health Unit, talking with the mother and child who were the first to receive the vaccine. Dr. C.E.
