The revue was sponsored by the Nova Scotia Department of Culture, Recreation and Fitness in cooperation with the Old Home Summer Commission, a 1982 revival of a festival incorporated by the province in 1920 to encourage tourism. The revue was directed by Don Allison and featured Nicola Lipman, Barrie Dunn, Gay Haliser and Robbie O'Neill, with musicians Sandy Moore and Nathan Currie.
