Subseries contains articles about wild blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium Ait) production and marketing in Eastern Canada and Maine. They are from the Agdex collection and include articles, bibliographies, research reports, newsletters, and abstracts. Topics covered include horticulture, management, crop culture, varieties, improvement harvesting, storage, processing, products – utilization, soil management, soil fertility, fertilizers, insects - diseases - pests, entomology, plant insects, plant pathology, weeds. rodents and pests, crop buildings and equipment, field machinery, production economics, and marketing. File contains "A brief to the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission" by the New Brunswick Institute of Agrologists, March 15, 1977. Also included is a copy of a "Brief to the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission" presented by Nova Scotia Institute of Agrologists, April 15, 1977, Halifax, N.S. Both reports support the development of the four year degree program at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, and even that the institute operate separate from the N.S. Department of Agriculture.

Canadian Veterans land act and Canadian Legion Educational Services publication series

File contains a 1944 revised edition of the Canadian Veterans land act and six issues of the Canadian Legion Educational Services publication series. The text on the back of the series instructs students enrolled in courses to carry their textbooks with them while traveling overseas. Upon arrival at their new stations, they were encouraged to promptly connect with the Education Officer or Naval Schoolmaster. They were intended to travel with soldiers during the peak of World War II. They provide powerful insight into the hopes and dreams these students had for their futures.
