There are approximately 20 000 reference cards. The cards deal with a variety of scientific topics, including but not limited to: the effects of mechanical stress on cartilage in vitro; a clinical overview of neurofibramitosis; and the growth of the facial skeleton in the hominoidea. The card sorters are located in Box 6.
