Fonds consists primarily of documents related to the production of the movie Bayo, an adaptation of the book Lightly, by Chipman Hall. There are also two poems written by Ryan and documents related to his development of a one-handed computer keyboard.

First Dalhousie drawing exhibition

File consists of records related to the first annual Dalhousie drawing exhibition, organized and selected by Michael Snow. The show was held at Dalhousie Art Gallery from January 9 - 28, 1976. The artists that participated in this exhibition were Michael Snow, Royden Rabinowitch, Joyce Wieland, John Meredith, Ron Martin and Dennis Burton.

Records consist of a list of works exhibited, biographies of included artists, a floor plan, clippings, interdepartmental memos, insurance documents, lists of expenses, invoices, and correspondence with Michael Snow and other galleries(lenders to the exhibition). Also includes invitation cards and photographs of drawings, including "Musical Chairs" and "Drive #2" by Michael Snow and "Dream" by Joyce Wieland and a picture of "Notebook #42, 1973, pages 69-70" by Dennis Burton.
