Item is a 3/4 pose portrait of the Melisse family. The photograph shows (from left to right): John Melisse; Helen Lisson; and Emilia (DeBodt) Melisse. Helen Lisson is Emilia's daughter with first husband, Gus Lisson, who was killed in a mine explosion. Emilia and John were married for over 50 years.

Item is photograph of Isabella McIntosh, who was born September 10, 1907 in Stellarton, the daughter of John William McIntosh (1880-1910) and Marion Dunbar (1881-1951). She was married to Duncan Frederick McDonald (1908-2000) and died August 30, 2003 in New Glasgow.

The older man is Duncan McDonald (1841-1929) and the older woman is his wife, Elizabeth Davidson (1840-1923). Their two sons are Dr. Thomas Davidson McDonald (1880-1940) and James K. McDonald (1876-1952). James' wife, Mary McDonald (1879-1967) is holding their infant son, Duncan Davidson McDonald (1908-1985).
