File consists of a catalogue a travelling exhibition of three notable Mexican artists, José Luis Cuevas, Xavier Esqueda, and Pedro Friedeberg, sponsored and presented by Rothmans of Pall Mall Canada, Ltd. The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery in June 1973.
Catalogue contains a forward by Lawrence Urrutia (Director adjoint, La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art), an introduction by Berta Taracena (President, Mexican section, International Association of Art Critics), profiles on each of the three artists, colour images of their works, a catalogue of artworks in the exhibition, and tour schedule.

Records consist of correspondence between Ernest Smith (Director, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and staff of Halifax School for the Blind regarding the sale of the art catalogues and staff of Maritime Telegraph and Telephone Co., Ltd. regarding the opening ceremony, and staff of Rothman's of Pall Mall Canada Ltd. regarding installation and security arrangement for the exhibition. In addition records include a tour schedule, historical background to the collection of models in the exhibition, media release, exhibition invitation list, newspaper clippings, and a floor plan designed by Golden Miller at the Vancouver centennial museum in November 1972. Records also contain a copy of an Impetus magazine, published in April 1973, and photographic prints of the three terracotta models of the right hand, torso, lower back and left thigh.
