File is a photograph of the first graduation ceremony for the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Accompanying note reads: Diane Elizabeth Banikhin was the first of a class of 23 to graduate from Memorial University's Faculty of Medicine at a special Convocation June 16, 1973. She receives her hood from Dr. Ian Rusted, Dean of Medicine. At right is Dr. G. Alain Frecker, Chancellor of Memorial.

File also contains a fax to "The Group of Fifteen" from the International Ocean Institute (IOI) on the implementation and ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLoS).

Mary Pratt : painting and drawings

File consists of records related to an exhibition of works by a Newfoundland painter, Mary Pratt, organized by the Memorial Art Gallery. The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery from December 9, 1975, to January 4, 1976.

Records consist of a condition report, correspondence, a floor plan, a list of exhibition expenses, invoices, interdepartmental memos, newspaper clipping, and an opening invitation.

Guido Molinari exhibition

File consists of records related to the Molinari exhibition, held at Dalhousie Art Gallery in October 1972. The following year, the exhibition was presented at Memorial University Art Gallery, St. John's, Newfoundland, from January 5 to 29, 1973.

Records consist mainly of correspondence between Mark B. Holton (Assistant curator, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and Guido Molinari, Frank Lapointe (Curator, Memorial University Art Gallery) and Ernest W. Smith (Director, Dalhousie Art Gallery). Records also include biographical information about Guido Molinari, lists and pricelists of paintings, insurance files, shipping notes, a condition report, and newspaper clipping.

Recording of an interview with Father Pieters

File contains a reel-to-reel recording of Barbara Hinds' interview with Father Pieters, an Oblate missionary in Davis Inlet. Father Pieters talks about the population of Naskapi and others who live at Davis Inlet. He talks about babies, clan water, tents, and other topics. The label on the reel says that it is an interview with Mr. Phelps but the interview is a continuation of the one in MS-2-130, Box 11, Folder 6, which is with Father Pieters.

File contains 25 photographs taken, largely by Bill Freedman, in Gros Morne National Park and along the Churchill River, Labrador, between 1998 and 2001. There are also photos by fellow researchers Annette Lutterman and Todd Keith. Photographs depict plants in Gros Morne and the Churchill River area, dried riverbeds above Churchill Falls, and three photos of Innu residents of the area.
