This series contains four sub-series: Subject Files; Personal Correspondence; Professional Correspondence and Notes; and Scotia Sales Correspondence. The Subject Files and Personal Correspondence sub-series contain materials largely related to John Bigelow's interest in his family genealogy. The Professional Correspondence and Notes sub-series provides a broad view of his employment across the forestry industry, both regionally and nationally, while the Scotia Sales Correspondence comprises monthly records during his tenure as director of the company.
