File contains a photograph of Reverand James Alexander Stead Burns who was born in Montreal in 1871. He had one brother, C.B. Burns, living in Ottawa, and three sisters: Mrs. Arthur G. Troop also lived in Ottawa, Mrs. MacKathy in Oban Scotland, and an unnamed sister in London, England. He was predeceased by his wife and died childless in New Glasgow in 1926.
