This series contains programs from a variety of performing artists and entities that performed in and around Halifax Nova Scotia. Included are programs from Symphony Nova Scotia, and the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, among others. Often the programs are connected to a particular performance venue more so than a single performing group. These venues include local churches, theatres and auditoriums such as the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium at Dalhousie University. Programs from local music festivals like the Nova Scotia Kiwanis Music Festival and the Halifax County Competitive Music Festival are also included in this series.

Fonds is primarily comprised of artistic programs from musical and theatrical events held predominantly in Nova Scotia, specifically in the Halifax area. Fonds also includes some music school syllabi, event competition forms and regulations, newspaper clippings, and correspondence.
