File consists of the exhibition booklet, '200 Years of Art in Halifax: An Exhibition prepared in Honour of the Bicentenary of the Founding of the City of Halifax, N.S., 1749-1949' prepared by a Committee representing the Nova Scotia College of Art, the Nova Scotia Museum of Fine Arts, the Nova Scotia Society of Artists, and Dalhousie University. It includes and 'Introduction' about the exhibition, illustrations, and a catalogue of featured works. The exhibition was for the Queen Elizabeth High School in Halifax, Nova Scotia, held July 18, to August 20, 1949.
