Vivaldi piccolo concerto

Item is an audio reel containing recordings of four performances. Track 1 is Vivaldi's Piccolo Concerto performed by the Hamilton Chamber Orchestra with Marta Kidy conducting and Stephen Pedersen on the piccolo, recorded in mono at a concert at Westmount High School in Hamilton on May 29, 1969. Tracks 2, 3 and 4 are part of a grouping called Electronic Tape, composed by Stephen Pedersen during his time at the Royal Conservatory of Music Electronic Studies under the instruction of S. Dalin. Track 2—Intaglio—was recorded in stereo on May 28, 1969 at the Cedarbrae Library in Scarborough, Ontario. Track 3—Study—was written in early fall 1968. Track 4—I'm Always Getting Yelled at for Being Overdressed (Study #Two)— was recorded on March 18, 1968 during a Royal Conservatory noon-hour series.

File contains published music scores used in Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia concerts, which were performed in historic settings. Scores include Sweet Polka Kiss; H.M.S. Pinafore; Polonaise from "Maignon"; Minute Waltz; We Sail the Ocean Blue; and El Capitan. There is also a handwritten score for Dickens in North America, with music by Stephen Pedersen and lyrics by Mark DeWolf. It was first performed in the Red Room, Province House, on August 24, 1979.
