File includes award for The Government of Nova Scotia recognizes the exceptional volunteer effort of Robert Doyle; and the Lifetime achievement award from the Federation of Nova Scotian Heritage.
Sub-series contains correspondence and working notes (rehearsal schedules, fitting dates, measurements) as well as costume designs from Doyle's work on Ballet Jorgen's 25th anniversary production of Swan Lake, which toured across Canada in 2012. There are thirty-one 27 x 35-cm watercolour costume sketches rendered on heavy-weight paper, four of which are signed and dated, and most of which have textile swatches attached. There are also two 27 x 35-cm pencil sketches of headdresses and one program from the original production.
File contains a folder of pamphlets from the Bermuda Department of Tourism, a bulletin of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities, a sabbatical leave and research grants information brochure, a folder of information about a course in writing for children and teenagers from the Institute of Children's Literature, and photocopies of information about historical hats.
