File consists of records related to the exhibition 'South African Batik Tapestries by Louis Steyn' presented by The Art Gallery, Memorial University, Newfoundland and organized in collaboration with Gallery 101, Johannesburg. Charles Douglas was Deputy Minister of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing. Douglas also served as Assistant Agricultural Representative in Pictou, Agricultural Representative in Hants County, Assistant Director and, later, Director of Extension, and as Director of Livestock.
