Item is a photograph of Daniel McDearmid, who was born circa 1848 and died in 1912. McDearmid was the owner of the Vendome Hotel in New Glasgow. He was married to Christy Bell McKenzie, with whom he had two sons: Alfonso or Alphonse and Clarence Hoyt McDearmid.
