Photographs depict one of the first same-sex marriages to take place Nova Scotia, officiated in July 2005 at Safe Harbour Metropolitan Community Church by the church's pastor, Reverend Darlene Young; and the 2008 Community Hero Awards, organized by the Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project. Fonds also contains one photograph of Dr. Hattie and Reverend Young following a Safe Harbour service.
