Canadian jungle : the later work of Arthur Lismer

File consists of records relating to an exhibition entitled "Canadian jungle : the later work of Arthur Lismer," organized and circulated by the Art Gallery of Ontario. The exhibition was presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery from December 19, 1985 to January 26, 1986.

Expron Ontario expressionism

File consists of records relating to the exhibition of works by seventeen Ontario artists entitled 'Expron: Ontario Expressionism,' curated by Peter Krausz, Director of the Saidye Bronfman Centre in Montreal and sponsored by Lavalin Nova Scotia. The exhibition was presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery from February 14 to March 24, 1985.

Records consist of correspondence, news releases, newspaper clippings, Canada Council visiting artists program application forms, catalogue texts, budget, condition report, invoices, two invitations, guest lists, and C.V. for Leo Rosshandler.

Lectures 1968-69-70

File consists of records related to the planning and presenting of guest lectures, presentations, readings, and talks organized through the Dalhousie Art Gallery for the period of 1968-1970. Records primarily relate to the planning of a lecture by Andrew Hudson.

Records consist primarily of correspondence of Evelyn Holmes (Acting curator, Dalhousie Art Gallery). Additional records consist of a photograph of guest lecturer Russel Harper (Professor, author), an itinerary for Mr. Andrew Hudson, a newspaper clipping regarding Hudson's visit, three lecture outlines, and biographies and curricula vitae for Andrew Hudson, Joan M. Vastokas, and Russell Harper.

Michael Snow : walking woman works 1961-1967
