File comprises the French-language piano and vocal score for Pélagie, co-written by Vincent de Tourdonnet and Allen Cole, adaptation française par Antonine Maillet, author of the Prix Goncourt-winning novel Pélagie-la-charrette, on which the musical drama is based. The play premiered at CanStage in Toronto and The National Arts Centre in Ottawa before being produced in 2005 by Two Planks and a Passion Theatre for an Atlantic tour with a bilingual cast alternating performances in French and English.
