The photograph on the bottom left is a duplicate of MS-2-202, Box 51, Folder 20, Item 2 in subseries Thomas Head Raddall's loose photographs, and was taken at Valcartier Camp, Quebec.
Fonds consists of Thomas Cantley's materials accumulated and sometimes annotated by Catherine Campbell in the course of her research on Cantley's life, including correspondence regarding his political and professional activities; correspondence with family members; manuscripts and typescripts; speeches; photographs; financial statements; and other textual records. Fonds also contains records originating with Cantley's family, including correspondence between his children Charles L. Cantley and Marian Cantley, and a letter from Donald F. Cantley to E.W. Sutherland.
Fonds contains 46 letters and postcards written by Weldon Morash while serving overseas in World War One and sent to his brother and sister in Halifax, Nova Scotia. There are also photographs.
Item is a poem in manuscript form, commemorating the death and burial site of Raddall's father in Amiens, France, in what became known as the Manitoba Cemetery, Caix. The poem is followed by an edited explanatory note and the name Gregory Cook is written in pencil on the margin.

Fonds consists of diaries and notebooks; printed programmes, books, and newspaper clippings regarding Col. William Rhoades or the regiments with which he served, including the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles. Fonds also contains miscellaneous papers related to his career.
The diaries and notebooks document Rhoades’ activities while posted in the Yukon, South Africa, and Europe during World War I. Some of the notebooks also contain hand drawn maps of battle fields.
Fonds comprises two letters written to William Croft. The first refers to work in the gold mines, while the second is a request for Croft's permission to allow his sixteen-year-old son to go overseas with the Canadian Forces. There is also a note from James Heyson to John Croft containing a medicinal recipe.
Collection comprises eight posters encouraging Americans to support the war effort, including giving blood, purchasing victory bonds and preventing food wastage.
