Item consists of the sixth issue of the tenth volume (July-August) of the 1993 run of the Gay and Lesbian Association newsletter, Gaezette. Issue includes an editorial about "indecent acts" at a St. John's mall written by Patrick Barnholden, personal reminiscences from Leith Chu, a recap of the "great shirtless war" at Rumours by Robin Metcalfe, a preview of the Atlantic Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual conference, photos from Pride Week collected by Lynn Murphy, a recap of Peggy's Festival of Queer Video and Film by Gary Kinsman, and other regular columns (by Ross Boutilier, Jane van Kansas, and John Balser), reviews, news updates, and event listings.

Series contains duplicate posters from fonds in the Nova Scotia LGBT Seniors Archive. Materials in series include posters for the Halifax Fetish Ball, Mr. Atlantic Canada Leather [M.A.C. Leather] contests, other LGBT events in Halifax and Montreal, LGBT films, and posters and acetate negatives of posters for events held at Rumours, a bar owned and operated by the Gay and Lesbian Association of Nova Scotia [GALA].
