Records consist mainly of correspondence of Ernest Smith (Director, Dalhousie Art Gallery) and handwritten letters from William Townsend and Charlotte Townsend (the daughter of William Townsend). File contains materials related to the life and passing of Wilson Hodder. Hodder was a prominent LGBT activist in Nova Scotia, who successfully petitioned for spousal survivors benefits for same-sex couples under the Canada Pension Plan following the passing of his partner, Terry Martin.
