Notes with fabric swatches

File contains three pages of notes about costume designs for Dalhousie Theatre's 1990 production of Shakespeare's Women. The notes are written on lined notebook paper. There are several small triangular fabric swatches taped to the notes. The notes are taped inside the cover of a pad of paper which contains all of Doyle's costume sketches from the production.

Newspaper clipping of Dalhousie University Costume Studies project, "The Wedding of the Century."

File contains the Nova Scotian section from the April 12, 1996 issue of the Chronicle Herald. The front page of the section features an article about a Dalhousie University Costume Studies project. The project was a re-enactment of a wedding that took place on December 29, 1764 between Joseph Goreham and Ann Spry. The article is divided between two pages of the newspaper section and features three black and white photographs of the event.

File contains a newspaper clipping from the November 20, 1984 issue of the Chronicle Herald. The clipping contains an article called "Exciting fashions for the party-goer" which features three photographs of outfits. The clipping may have been used as research material for costume design.

Item is a pencil sketch of a costume design for Dalhousie Theatre's production of The Good Woman of Setzuan (also known as The Good Person of Setzuan). The sketch is a diagram showing how the mask for Mr. Lin To, a carpenter, is constructed.

File contains 19 pieces of clear plastic that have been painted with swirling designs in various dark colours. Some pieces are cut into irregular shapes. Some pieces are mounted on card. The items are from a set design for a production of Love for Love, Probably Wimbledon Theatre's 1969 production.

The file includes contracts from Neptune Theatre, the Nova Scotia Tattoo, Theatre Plus, Upper Clements Family Theme Park, Meet the Navy, Saint John Tattoo, and Manitoba Theatre Centre. The file also includes a designing artists agreement from the Associated Designers of Canada.
