Item is a photograph of Kenneth Cox. In 1937, Dr. Cox moved to Truro, Nova Scotia, where he accepted an appointment as Provincial Agronomist and Professor of Agronomy at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. These two roles were continued until 1946. In 1941 he was also appointed Vice-Principal of the College and Farm Director. He held the position of Nova Scotia Agricultural College principal from 1946 - 1964.

It was used as the residence for college principals on the campus of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. The reverse has in handwriting: "the first house built for college president, at top of hill on College Road, right hand side going up".
