Copy photo of one man wearing military uniform; bust. Original mat has oval opening and shows it was taken by: "Scouter Print James Watson Street(?)". There appear to be two mats, the first of which reads: "Brigadier General Simon Fraser Who after a Series of diftinguifed fervices fell at the head of an advanced Corps of the Army near Saratoga the 7th October 1777. To the Right Honourable Edward Sigenier Earl Sigenier of Clemel in the Kingdom of Ireland. This plate is most humbly inscribed by his Lordship's most obedient servant Mrs. Robinson late Herald. Published according to Act of Parliament June 8th, 1778 and sold by S. Hooper Ludgate Hill London & J. Watts Charing Crofs London". A coat of arms is depicted in the centre of this inscription. On an outer mat a second inscription appears in Gaelic with the date 1896
