Scope and content

There appears to be several reports listed as "research report II", item 5-12 has one cover page, "The Educational Needs, Interests and Plans of Atlantic Social Service Employees: Research Report II", with an additional cover page, "The Atlantic Social Services Project: Research Report II". This subseries contains materials related to the second series of reports from "The Atlantic Social Services Project: Research Report II" which were sponsored by the Maritime School of Social Work, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The principal investigator on this, and all reports in this series, is Joan E. Cummings. The three reports labelled as research report II are related as they use the same data gathered from a series of surveys.

This report was based on two separate surveys of formal education programs within the region in 1977, the first was directed at students which the second was aimed at faculty. The report is a summary of the trends discovered from the data of these surveys.
