Scope and content

File consists of eleven photographs of the desk of the ship H,M.C.S. Iroquois (G89). During building the ship name was switched with a sister ship, the H,M.C.S. Athabaskan, due to bomb damage to the original hull. The Iroquois was the first of the Tribal class destroyers to be commissioned on November 30, 1942.
