The Division of Continuing Medical Education (CME), formerly the Postgraduate Division (1966-1969), began under the Directorship of L.C. Steeves. The Faculty of Medicine presented programs of continuing medical education since 1922, but it was not officially recognized as a Division of the Faculty until 1963.
