Biographical history

Cyril Gilbert Moran Chapman was born on 27 July 1886. From 1907-1909 he studied Law at Dalhousie University. He went on to practise law in Dorchester, New Brunswick, where he also served as a sheriff and magistrate. He died on 22 October 1955.

Custodial history

Records were donated to the Dalhousie University Archives by Frank Tracey in accession (1971-103) in 1971.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of six student law notebooks from 1907 to 1909 while Chapman was a student at Dalhousie University.
