Includes correspondence relating to a joint meeting of Pacem in Maribus (PIM) VII and the Club of Rome, on the new international economic order and the law of the sea. Includes a statement on dispute resolution made by Minister Evensen to that meeting. File also includes background documents sent by Minister Evensen in advance of the Intersessional Consultations on the Law of the Sea held in Geneva between February 28 and March 11, 1977. The file also contains a page of correspondence from Edward Gorecki, correspondence assistant in Canada's PMO (Prime Minister's Office), outlining the Canadian stance on disarmament.
