Biographical history

Clancy Dennehy was born in Winnipeg, and is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Dennehy currently resides in Vancouver, and is a filmmaker and photographer. Dennehy was associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 1984 to 1986 because of his involvement with audio recordings for the Audio by Artists Festivals.

Biographical history

Dan Lander was born in 1953 in Oshawa, Ontario and educated at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. During his education, Lander focused in performance, video and sound. Lander became associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 1984 because of his involvement with a video recording entitled “2 videos by Halifax independent producers” which became a part of their tape collection.

Item consists of an audio recording from the Audio by Artists Festival that was recorded in April of 1983 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The recording is affiliated with both Eye Level Gallery and the Centre for Art Tapes.
