An inscription in pencil by Budge Wilson on the original envelope that the manuscript was stored in lists the following names: Duncan (Dusty) Miller, Dr. Butt, Barb Robson, Debra Daquin, David and Janet [Wilkins], and Robert and Peggy. These are individuals that Wilson interviewed and talked to in connection with the book.
Another note, also by Wilson, to Eileen Richmond that was on the original envelope includes instructions for Eileen: "Drafts 7 & 8 (The five extra pages - marked with red - forming the difference between the two) - 29, 30, 62, 67, 69. Requiring checking - marked by red dots - 5, 15, 19, 22, 26, 28, 34, 39, 44, 62, 69."
