Biographical history

Ron Gerold was involved with the Centre for Art Tapes in 1980s, as his work became a part of their tape collection. Gerold was also involved with the Canadian Housing Federation in 1987.

Custodial history

The tape was donated to the Dalhousie University Archives in 2013 by the Centre for Art Tapes.

Scope and content

Item consists of a video, produced by Ron Gerold, that documents an innovative, multi-layered dramatic presentation on the life of Martin Luther King Jr. This inspiring play was produced for the Cultural Awareness Youth group which is dedicated to teaching black youths their own history.
